Now I am discussing about interesting fact of "Area"

Look at the closed figure in the picture given below

All of figure occupy some region of flat surface

The amount of surface enclosed by a closed figure is called area

You may guess the which figure has more area
It is a difficult to us just by looking at these figures
Thats reason we keep the graph paper where every square measure 1cm*1cm

Then look at the picture given below.

The square enclosed by the figure,some of enclosed completly,some of half enclosed,some less than half enclosed and some more than half

The area is the number of centimetre square that are needed to cover it

The area of one full square is taken as 1sq unit

It more than half of square just count 1 sq unit

It less than half of square just count 0sq unit

It exactly half of square than count 1/2sq unit

Lets example:-

Calculate area of close figure.

1.fully filled square=11, . 11*1=11
2.half filled square=3,. 3*1/2=1.5
3.more than half filled square=7,. 7*1=7
4.less than half filled square=5,. 5*0=0

Total area=11+1.5+7=19.5sq unit
